जन्माष्टमी

जन्माष्टमी को श्री कृष्ण के जन्मोत्सव के रूप में मनाया जाता है। मथुरा शहर में असुर राज कंस के बंदी गृह में देवकी की आठवीं संतान के रूप में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण भाद्रपद कृष्णपक्ष की अष्टमी को जन्म हुआ। उनके जन्म के समय मध्यरात्रि (मध्यरात्रि) थी, चंद्रमा उदय हो रहा था और उस समय रोहिणी नक्षत्र भी था। इसलिए, इस दिन को हर साल कृष्ण की जयंती के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी मुहूर्त

1. जन्माष्टमी व्रत पहले दिन मनाया जाता है अगर अष्टमी पहले दिन आधी रात को उपस्थित हो।
2. जन्माष्टमी व्रत दूसरे दिन मनाया जाता है यदि अष्टमी मध्यरात्रि को ही होती है।
3. अष्टमी दोनों दिन मध्यरात्रि को प्रबल होती है और यदि रोहिणी नक्षत्र का योग एक ही दिन मध्यरात्रि (मध्यरात्रि) को किया जाता है तो जन्माष्टमी व्रत रोहिणी नक्षत्र से युक्त दिन में किया जाता है।
4. अष्टमी दोनों दिन मध्यरात्रि में उपस्थित होती है और यदि रोहिणी नक्षत्र मध्यरात्रि (मध्यरात्रि) दोनों दिन रहता है, तो दूसरे दिन जन्माष्टमी व्रत मनाया जाता है।
5. अष्टमी दोनों दिन मध्यरात्रि में प्रबल होती है और जन्माष्टमी व्रत दूसरे दिन मनाया जाता है यदि दोनों दिन मध्य रात्रि (मध्यरात्रि) में रोहिणी नक्षत्र का योग न हो।
6. यदि अष्टमी दोनों दिन मध्यरात्रि को नहीं होती है, तो जन्माष्टमी व्रत प्रत्येक मामले में दूसरे दिन होगा।

विशेष: उपरोक्त मुहूर्त स्मार्टा मत के अनुसार दिया गया है। वैष्णवों के अनुसार, अगले दिन श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी मनाई जाएगी। ध्यान रखें कि जो लोग वैष्णववाद और स्मार्ट संप्रदाय स्कूलों का पालन करते हैं, वे इस त्योहार को विभिन्न नियमों के साथ मनाते हैं।

हिंदू धर्मशास्त्रों के अनुसार, वैष्णव वे हैं, जिनकी विधिवत शुरुआत वैष्णव संप्रदाय में बताए गए नियमों के अनुसार हुई है। ये लोग ज्यादातर अपने गले में कांति की माला पहनते हैं और माथे पर विष्णु चरण का चिन्ह (टीका) लगाते हैं। इन वैष्णवों के अलावा, सभी लोगों को धर्मशास्त्र में स्मार्ट कहा जाता है। दूसरे शब्दों में हम कह सकते हैं कि - वे सभी जिन्होंने वैष्णव संप्रदाय से विधिपूर्वक दीक्षा नहीं ली है, स्मार्ट कहलाते हैं।

जन्माष्टमी व्रत और पूजा विधि

1. इस व्रत में अष्टमी का व्रत पूजन और नवमी के व्रत से पूरा होता है।
2. इस व्रत को करने वाले व्यक्ति को व्रत के एक दिन पहले (सप्तमी पर) हल्का और सात्विक भोजन करना चाहिए। रात में महिलाओं से वंचित रहें और सभी पक्षों से मन और इंद्रियों को नियंत्रण में रखें।
3. व्रत के दिन सुबह स्नान करने के बाद सभी देवताओं को प्रणाम करें और पूर्व या उत्तर की ओर मुख करके बैठें।
4. अपने हाथ में जल, फल और फूल लेकर संकल्प करें और देवकी जी को स्नान (छिड़काव) करवाकर मध्यान्ह के समय काले पानी से स्नान कराएं। अब इस सूतिका गृह में एक सुंदर पलंग बिछाकर उस पर शुभ कलश स्थापित करें।
5. साथ ही, भगवान श्री कृष्ण को स्तनपान कराते समय देवी देवकी जी की मूर्ति या सुंदर चित्र स्थापित करें। पूजा में देवकी, वासुदेव, बलदेव, नंद, यशोदा और लक्ष्मी जी को क्रमशः इनका नाम लेकर उनकी विधिवत पूजा करनी चाहिए।
6. यह व्रत रात को बारह बजे के बाद ही खोला जाता है। इस व्रत में अनाज का उपयोग नहीं किया जाता है। कुट्टू के आटे की पकौड़ी, मावा बर्फी और सिंघाड़े के आटे के हलवे को फल के रूप में बनाया जाता है।

जन्माष्टमी की कहानी

द्वापर युग के अंत में मथुरा में उग्रसेन राजाओं ने शासन किया। उग्रसेन के पुत्र का नाम कंस था। कंस ने उग्रसेन को सिंहासन से उतारकर जेल में डाल दिया और खुद राजा बन गया। कंस की बहन देवकी का यादव वंश में वासुदेव के साथ विवाह की पुष्टि हुई। जब कंस देवकी को विदा करने के लिए रथ के साथ जा रहा था, तो आकाशवाणी ने कहा, हे कंस! देवता का आठवां पुत्र जिसे आप बड़े प्रेम से छोड़ रहे हैं वह आपको मार डालेगा। आकाशवाणी सुनने पर कंस क्रोध से भर गया और देवकी को मारने के लिए तैयार हो गया। उसने सोचा - न देवकी होगी और न ही कोई पुत्र।

वासुदेव जी ने कंस को समझाया कि तुम्हें देवकी से कोई भय नहीं है। देवकी अपने आठवें बच्चे से डरती है। इसलिए, मैं इसका आठवां बच्चा आपको सौंप दूंगा। कंस ने वासुदेव जी को स्वीकार कर लिया और वासुदेव-देवकी को जेल में बंद रखा। तुरंत नारद जी वहां आए और कंस से कहा कि यह कैसे पता चलेगा कि कौन सा आठवां गर्भ होगा। गिनती पहले या आखिरी गर्भ से शुरू होगी। कंस ने नारद की सलाह पर एक-एक करके देवकी के गर्भ से पैदा हुए सभी बच्चों को निर्दयता से मार डाला।

श्री कृष्ण का जन्म रोहिणी नक्षत्र में भाद्रपद के कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी को हुआ था। पैदा होते ही जेल की कोठरी में रोशनी फैल गई। वासुदेव-देवकी के सामने शंख, चक्र, गदा और पद्मधारी भगवान प्रकट हुए और कहा कि अब मैं एक बालक का रूप धारण करता हूं। तुम तुरंत मुझे गोकुल में नंद के पास ले आओ और उस लड़की को सौंप दो, जो अभी-अभी उनके यहां पैदा हुई है। वासुदेव जी ने वैसा ही किया और कन्या को कंस को सौंप दिया।

जब कंस ने उस लड़की को मारना चाहा, तो वह कंस के हाथ से निकल गई और आकाश में उड़ गई और एक देवी का रूप ले लिया और कहा कि मुझे मारने से क्या लाभ है? आपका दुश्मन गोकुल पहुंच गया है। इस दृश्य को देखकर कंस हैरान और व्याकुल हो गया। कंस ने कृष्ण को मारने के लिए कई राक्षस भेजे। श्री कृष्ण ने अपनी अलौकिक माया से सभी राक्षसों को मार डाला। बड़े होने के बाद कंस ने उग्रसेन को मार डाला और उसे सिंहासन पर बैठाया।

जन्माष्टमी का महत्व

1. इस दिन देश के सभी मंदिर सुशोभित होते हैं।
2. श्री कृष्णावतार के स्मरण के लिए झंडों को सजाया जाता है।
3. भगवान कृष्ण का श्रृंगार करें और उन्हें झूला झुलाकर झुलाएं।


पुरुष और महिलाएं रात के बारह बजे तक उपवास रखते हैं। रात के बारह बजे, चारों दिशाओं में शंख और घंटियों की ध्वनि से श्री कृष्ण के जन्म की खबर। भगवान कृष्ण की आरती की जाती है और प्रसाद वितरित किया जाता है।

Krishna Janmashtami Muhurat

3. Ashtami prevails at midnight on both days and if the Yoga of Rohini Nakshatra is done on the same day at midnight (midnight) then Janmashtami fast is performed on the day consisting of Rohini Nakshatra.
4. Ashtami is present at midnight on both days and if Rohini Nakshatra prevails at midnight (midnight) on both days, then Janmashtami fast is observed on the second day.
5. Ashtami prevails at midnight on both days and Janmashtami fast is observed on the second day if there is no Yoga of Rohini Nakshatra on both days at midnight (midnight).
6. If Ashtami does not prevail at midnight on both days, then Janmashtami fast will be on the second day in each case.

Special: The above Muhurta is given according to the Smarta vote. According to the Vaishnavas, Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated the next day. Keep in mind that people who follow Vaishnavism and Smarta Sampradaya schools celebrate this festival with different rules.

According to Hindu theology, Vaishnavas are those who have been duly initiated according to the rules stated in the Vaishnava sect. These people mostly wear Kanti garland around their neck and put Vishnu Charan's sign (Tika) on the forehead. Apart from these Vaishnavites, all people have been called smarts in theology. In other words we can say that - all those who have not taken initiation from the Vaishnava sect methodically, are called Smarta.

Janmashtami fast and worship method

1. In this fast, fasting of Ashtami is accomplished by worship and fasting of Navami.
2. The person doing this fast should eat light and satvic food one day before the fast (on Saptami). Stay deprived of women at night and keep the mind and senses under control from all sides.
3. On the fasting day, after bathing in the morning, salute all the gods and sit facing the east or north.
4. Take resolution of water, fruits and flowers in your hand and make a maternity home for Devaki Ji by bathing (spraying) it with black sesame water at mid-day. Now by laying a beautiful bed in this sutika ghar, install auspicious urn on it.
5. Also, install the idol or beautiful picture of Goddess Devaki Ji while breastfeeding Lord Shri Krishna. In worship, Devaki, Vasudev, Baldev, Nand, Yashoda and Lakshmi ji should worship them duly, taking the names of these respectively.
6. This fast is opened only after twelve o'clock at night. Grains are not used in this fast. Kuttu flour dumplings, Mawa Burfi and Singhada flour pudding are made as fruit.

Janmashtami story

Ugrasena kings ruled in Mathura at the end of Dwapara era. Ugrasen's son's name was Kansa. Kansa forced Ugrasena to be jailed by taking him from the throne and became king himself. Kansa's sister Devaki's marriage with Vasudev in the Yadav clan was confirmed. When Kansa was going with the chariot to send Devaki away, Akashvani said, O Kansa! The eighth son of the god whom you are leaving with great love will kill you. On hearing Akashvani, Kansa was filled with anger and agreed to kill Devaki. He thought - there will be neither Devaki nor any son.

Vasudev Ji explained to Kamsa that you have no fear from Devaki. Devaki is afraid of his eighth child. Therefore, I will hand over its eighth child to you. Kansa accepted Vasudev ji and kept Vasudev-Devaki in jail. Immediately Narada ji came there and said to Kamsa how it would be known which eighth womb would be. The count will begin from the first or the last womb. Kansa mercilessly killed all the children born from Devaki's womb one by one on the advice of Narada.

Shri Krishna was born in Rohini Nakshatra on the eighth day of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada. As soon as he was born, light spread in the prison cell. In front of Vasudev-Devaki, the God of conch, chakra, mace and padamdhari manifested his form and said, Now I take the form of a child. You immediately bring me to Nanda's in Gokul and hand over the girl who has just been born to him. Vasudev ji did the same and handed over the girl to Kamsa.

When Kansa wanted to kill that girl, she got out of Kansa's hand and flew into the sky and took the form of a goddess and said what is the benefit of killing me? Your enemy has reached Gokul. Kansa was shocked and distraught after seeing this scene. Kansa sent several demons to kill Krishna. Shri Krishna killed all the demons with his supernatural maya. After growing up, Kansa killed Ugrasen and made him sit on the throne.

Importance of Janmashtami

1. On this day all the temples of the country are adorned.
2. Shrubs are decorated to commemorate Shri Krishnaavatar.
3. Make up of Lord Krishna and swing the swing by swinging them.


Men and women keep fast till twelve o'clock in the night. At twelve o'clock in the night, the news of Shri Krishna's birth by the sound of conch and bells echoes in all four directions. Aarti of Lord Krishna is performed and Prasad is distributed.
