Recalculating and Refreshing Data

F9

Recalculating the fields in the window, or refresh a Lookup field or drop-down list.

SHIFT + F9

Require  the data source to update records.

Find and Replacing Items

CTRL + F

Display the Find tab of the Find and Replace dialog box.

CTRL + H

Display the Replace tab of the Find and Replace dialog box.

SHIFT + F4

Find the next instance of the search text.

Extending the selection

F8

Turn on extend mode and extend the selection.

←, ↑, →, ↓

Extend the selection to the field to the left, Previous, right, Next row.

SHIFT + F8

Undo the previous extension.

SHIFT + →

Extend the selection to the column to the right.

Editing Controls in Design View

SHIFT + ENTER

Add a control to the active section.

CTRL + RIGHT ARROW

Move the selected control right one pixel, ignoring the grid.

CTRL + LEFT ARROW

Move the selected control left one pixel, ignoring the grid.

SHIFT + LEFT ARROW

Decrease the width of the selected control by one pixel.

SHIFT +RIGHT ARROW

Increase the width of the selected control by one pixel

SHIFT + UP ARROW

Decrease the height of the selected control by one pixel.

Selecting Fields and Records

TAB

Select the next field.

SHIFT + SPACEBAR

Toggle between selecting a record and selecting the first field of the record.

SHIFT + UP ARROW

Extend the selection from the current record to the previous record.

SHIFT + DOWN ARROW

Extend the selection from the record to the next record.

CTRL + A

Select all the records.

CTRL + SHIFT + SPACEBAR

Select all the records.
