चैत्र शुक्ल पक्ष के दसवें दिन चैत्र नवरात्रि मनाई जाती है। इस दिन चैत्र नवरात्रि, जो 9 दिनों तक चलती है, समाप्त होती है। पराना मुहूर्त के बारे में शास्त्रों में बहुत अंतर है कि क्या नवमी या दशमी के दिन पारन होगा। मीमांस (जिन्होंने शास्त्रों की व्याख्या की है) के अनुसार, परना दशमी को किया जाना चाहिए, क्योंकि कई शास्त्रों में कहा जाता है कि नवमी को उपवास रखा जाता है।

यदि नवमी तिथि दो दिनों तक पड़ रही है, तो उस स्थिति में पहले दिन उपवास रखा जाएगा और दूसरे दिन परना किया जाएगा। शास्त्रों में इसका वर्णन है। चूंकि नवमी नवरात्रि पूजा का अंतिम दिन है, इसलिए इस दिन देवी दुर्गा की पूजा करके विसर्जन किया जाना चाहिए।

पूजा और विसर्जन के बाद ब्राह्मणों को फल, उपहार, वस्त्र, दान, दक्षिणा आदि (अपनी इच्छानुसार) देना चाहिए। साथ ही 9 कन्याओं को कन्या पूजन कर उपरोक्त बातें बताई जानी चाहिए।

Chaitra Navratri Parana

Chaitra Navratri is celebrated on the tenth day of Chaitra Shukla Paksha. On this day Chaitra Navratri, which lasts for 9 days, ends. There is a lot of difference in the scriptures about Parana Muhurta whether Parana will happen on Navami or Dashami. According to Mimans (who have interpreted the scriptures), Parana Dashami should be done, because in many scriptures it is said that Navami is kept fast.

If Navami Tithi is falling for two days, then in that case fasting will be observed on the first day and Parana will be done on the second day. This is described in the scriptures. As Navami is the last day of Navratri puja, therefore, immersion should be done by worshiping Goddess Durga on this day.

After worship and immersion, Brahmins should give fruits, gifts, clothes, donations, Dakshina etc. (as per their wish). Also, the above things should be given to 9 girls by worshiping the girl.
