अक्षय तृतीया व्रत और पूजा विधि

2. अपने घर के मंदिर में विष्णु जी को गंगाजल से शुद्ध करने के बाद तुलसी, पीले फूलों की माला या पीले पुष्प अर्पित करें।
3. फिर धूप-अगरबत्ती, ज्योत जलाएं और पीले आसन पर बैठें और विष्णु (विष्णु सहस्त्रनाम, विष्णु चालीसा) से संबंधित पाठ को पढ़ने के बाद अंत में विष्णु की आरती पढ़ें।
4. साथ ही इस दिन विष्णु के नाम पर गरीबों को भोजन कराना या दान करना अत्यंत पुण्यकारी है।

नोट: यदि पूर्ण व्रत रखना संभव नहीं है, तो आप पीले मीठे हलवा, केला, पीले मीठे चावल खा सकते हैं।

1. One who fasts on this day should cleanse himself in the morning and wear yellow clothes.
2. In the temple of your home, offer Basil, a garland of yellow flowers or a yellow wreath after purifying Vishnu with Ganges water.
3. Then burn incense-agarbatti, jyot and sit on a yellow pedestal and after reading the text related to Vishnu (Vishnu Sahastranama, Vishnu Chalisa), finally read the aarti of Vishnu.
4. Also on this day, feeding or donating to the poor in the name of Vishnu is extremely virtuous.

Note: If it is not possible to keep a full fast, you can eat yellow sweet pudding, banana, yellow sweet rice.

According to mythology, Nara-Narayana, Parashurama and Hayagreeva were incarnated on this day. Therefore, according to some people, for the sake of Nar-Narayana, Parashurama and Hayagreeva ji offer barley or wheat sattu, soft cucumber and soaked gram dal as a bhog.
