मोहिनी एकादशी हिंदू धर्म में एक बहुत ही पवित्र और फलदायी तिथि मानी जाती है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि अगर कोई व्यक्ति इस शुभ दिन पर उपवास रखता है, तो उसका जीवन कल्याणमय हो जाता है। व्रत का पालन करने वाला व्यक्ति मोह माया के जंगल से निकलकर मोक्ष प्राप्ति की ओर बढ़ता है।

मोहिनी एकादशी व्रत और पूजा की विधि

● एकादशी पर ब्रह्म मुहूर्त में उठें और स्नान करने के बाद साफ कपड़े पहनें।
● इसके बाद कलश स्थापित करें और भगवान विष्णु की पूजा करें
● दिन के दौरान मोहिनी एकादशी व्रत कथा पढ़ें या सुनें
● रात को श्री हरि का स्मरण करें और भजन कीर्तन करते हुए जागरण करें
● द्वादशी पर एकादशी व्रत का पालन करें
● सबसे पहले भगवान की पूजा करें और ब्राह्मण या जरूरतमंदों को भोजन अर्पित करें और उन्हें भिक्षा दें।
● इसके बाद ही भोजन करें

मोहिनी एकादशी का महत्व

पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार, जब समुद्र मंथन किया गया था, अमृत की प्राप्ति के बाद, देवताओं और असुरों के बीच तबाही हुई थी। असुरों के बल पर देवता असुरों को पराजित नहीं कर सकते थे, इसलिए भगवान विष्णु ने मोहिनी का रूप धारण किया और असुरों को अपने प्रेम के जाल में फंसा लिया, उन्हें सभी अमृत दिए और उन्हें अमरता प्रदान की। इसी कारण से इस एकादशी को मोहिनी एकादशी कहा गया।

मोहिनी एकादशी व्रत कथा

धनपाल नाम का एक धनी व्यक्ति भद्रावती नाम के सुंदर नगर में रहता था। वह स्वभाव से बहुत गुणी व्यक्ति था। उनके पाँच पुत्रों में सबसे छोटे का नाम धृतबुद्धि था, जो बुरे कार्यों में अपने पिता के धन को लूटते थे। एक दिन धनपाल ने उसकी बुरी आदतों से तंग आकर उसे घर से बाहर निकाल दिया। अब वह शोक में डूबते हुए दिन-रात भटकने लगा। एक दिन महर्षि कुछ पुण्य के प्रभाव से कौंडिल्य के आश्रम में पहुँचे। गंगा स्नान करने के बाद महर्षि आए।

शोक के भार से पीड़ित होकर, कुंडिल्य ऋषि के पास गए और हाथ जोड़कर कहा, "ऋषि! मुझे दया करो और मुझे कोई भी उपाय बताएं जिससे मैं अपने दुखों से छुटकारा पा सकूं। '' फिर कौंडिल्य ने कहा, प्रसिद्ध एकादशी का व्रत करो। मोहिनी नाम। '' इस व्रत के पुण्य से कई जन्मों के पाप भी नष्ट हो जाते हैं। धृष्टबुद्धि ऋषि द्वारा बताई गई विधि के अनुसार उपवास करते हैं।जिसके कारण वह पाप रहित हो गए और दिव्य शरीर धारण कर श्री विष्णुधाम चले गए।

Importance of Mohini Ekadashi

According to the legend, when the sea was churned, after the attainment of nectar, there was a catastrophe among the gods and asuras. Gods could not defeat the Asuras on the strength of strength, so Lord Vishnu took the form of Mohini and trapped the Asuras in the trap of their love, giving them all the nectar and giving them immortality. For this reason, this Ekadashi was called Mohini Ekadashi.

A wealthy man named Dhanapal lived in the beautiful city named Bhadravati. He was a very virtuous person by nature. The name of the youngest of his five sons was Dhritabuddhi, who used to loot his father's wealth in bad deeds. One day Dhanapal, fed up with his bad habits, kicked him out of the house. Now he started wandering from day to night drowning in mourning. One day Maharishi reached the ashram of Kaundilya with the influence of some virtue. Maharishi came after taking bath in the Ganges.

Suffering from the weight of mourning, Kundilya went to the sage and folded his hands and said, "Rishi! Pity me and tell me any remedy by virtue of which I can get rid of my sorrows. 'Then Kaundilya said, Fasting the famous Ekadashi named Mohini'. The sins of many births are also destroyed by virtue of this fast. Dhrishtbuddhi fasted according to the method described by the sage. Due to which he became sinless and took the divine body and went to Sri Vishnudham.
