संकष्टी चतुर्थी पूजा विधि

गणपति को मानने वाले लोग इस दिन उपवास रखते हैं और उन्हें प्रसन्न करते हैं और अपने इच्छित फल की कामना करते हैं।

● इस दिन आप सुबह सूर्योदय से पहले उठते हैं।

एक बार माता पार्वती और भगवान शिव नदी के पास बैठे थे, तब अचानक माता पार्वती ने चौपड़ खेलने की इच्छा व्यक्त की। लेकिन समस्या यह थी कि खेल में जज की भूमिका निभाने वालों के अलावा कोई तीसरा व्यक्ति नहीं था। इस समस्या का समाधान करते हुए, शिव और पार्वती ने मिलकर एक मिट्टी की मूर्ति बनाई और उसमें जान डाल दी। दोनों ने मिट्टी से बने बच्चे को खेल को अच्छी तरह से देखने और यह फैसला किया कि कौन जीता और कौन हारा। वह खेल शुरू हुआ जिसमें माता पार्वती भगवान शिव को बार-बार हराकर विजयी हुई थीं।

खेल जारी रहा लेकिन एक बार लड़के ने गलती से माता पार्वती को हारा घोषित कर दिया। बालक की इस गलती से माता पार्वती को बहुत गुस्सा आया जिसके कारण वह क्रोधित हो गई और उसने बालक को श्राप दे दिया और वह लंगड़ा हो गया। बच्चे ने अपनी गलती के लिए मां से माफी मांगी और उसे माफ करने के लिए कहा। बच्चे के बार-बार अनुरोध को देखते हुए, माँ ने कहा कि अब अभिशाप वापस नहीं किया जा सकता है, लेकिन वह एक उपाय सुझा सकती है जिसके द्वारा वह अभिशाप से छुटकारा पा सकेंगी। माँ ने कहा कि संकष्टी पर पूजा करने के लिए कुछ लड़कियां इस स्थान पर आती हैं, आप उनसे उपवास की विधि पूछते हैं और उस व्रत को सच्चे मन से करते हैं।

Once Mata Parvati and Lord Shiva were sitting near the river, then suddenly Mata Parvati expressed her desire to play Chaupad. Solving this problem, Shiva and Parvati together made an earthen idol and put life into it. Both of them ordered the child made of clay to watch the game well and decide who won and who lost. The game started in which Mata Parvati was victorious by repeatedly beating Lord Shiva.

The game continued but once the boy accidentally declared Mata Parvati a loser. This mistake of the boy made Mata Parvati very angry due to which she got angry and cursed the child and he became lame. The child apologized to mother for her mistake and asked her to forgive him. Seeing the repeated request of the child, the mother said that now the curse cannot be returned but she can suggest a remedy by which she will be able to get rid of the curse. Mother said that some girls come to this place to worship on Sankashti, you ask them the method of fasting and do that fast with true heart.

Knowing the method of fasting, the child did it reverently and according to the law. Lord Ganesha was pleased with his true worship and asked his wish.
