In Hinduism, Chandraghanta is the third form of Goddess Durga. Her name is Chandra-Ghanta, which means "one who has a crescent like a bell. They are worshiped on the third day of Navratri (the nine divine nights of Navadurga). He is believed to reward people with his grace, bravery and courage. After Lord Shiva gave his promise to Parvati that he would not marry any woman, his sufferings overwhelmed him so much that he conceded defeat, followed by a tearful reunion and then agreed to marry her. . Shiva, on the occasion of his remarriage, brings a procession of gods, dead, ghosts, ghosts, goblins, sages, ascetics, Aghoris and Shivaganas to the gate of King Himwan's palace to take his bride Parvati. Shiva arrives at King Himwan's palace in a terror form and Parvati's mother Menwati Devi faints in terror. Parvati sees Shiva and sees his frightened form, so she transforms herself into the goddess Chandraghanta to save her parents and other family members.
Chandraghanta persuades Shiva to reappear in an attractive form. Upon hearing the goddess, Shiva appears as a prince embellished with countless gems. Parvati revives her mother, father and friends, then Shiva and Parvati get married and make promises to each other.
Chandraghanta has a trishul (trident), gada (mace), bow-arrow, khadak (sword), kamala (lotus flower), ghanta (bell) and kamandal (jalapatra), while one of his hands remains in the blessing posture. . Or Abhayamudra. He rides a tiger or lion as his vehicle, representing bravery and courage, wears a half moon on his forehead and has a third eye in the middle of his forehead. Its color is golden. Shiva sees the form of Chandraghanta as a great example of beauty, charm and grace.

Durga incarnated as Kaushiki to kill the demons and Shumbha and Nishumbha and their companions. Kaushiki's beauty was to lure the demons to their doom. Shumbha wanted to marry Kaushiki with his brother Nishumbha and thus sent the demon Dhumalochan to fetch him. When he protested, Dhumalochan attacked him. Enraged, Mata Parvati destroyed Dhumlochan with a mere 'humkara'.
